Custom-built tiny home by a career and technology center in KY in 2018. The home is 24 ft long with a 2 ft bump out on both ends, a queen murphy bed which doubles as a sofa.
There is a ladder for access to a loft with a twin bed. This home has a reading nook (which can also be used as a large closet, complete with closing doors) for relaxation while enjoying a good book or watching a show on the large TV. Under the nook/closet are custom hardwood drawers.
Using ottomans in the living space allow for side table use, storage or seating at the convenient flip tables that can be set up for eating.
The kitchen is raised for easy access to plumbing and the entire floor under the kitchen has storage drawers. The woodwork in the kitchen is entirely made from locally milled custom oak. The countertops are solid hardwood. The appliances include a 4 burner induction stove, microwave and full-sized fridge.
The bathroom has a large rain-head shower with tall ceilings and more custom hardwood cabinets and a flush toilet. The floor features ceramic tiles. Hidden in the cabinets is a propane tankless water heater. The house is wired for 50 amps. The house is heated and cooled with a mini-split.
A lot of thought went into creating usable storage for this house. It is a truly livable tiny house. It is currently parked at Tiny Estates in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania as a short term rental. You can either purchase it as an investment tiny house to generate income at Tiny Estates (or elsewhere), or to live in.
