Looking for a property manager with handyperson skills to come help turn our old farm bungalow and the surrounding 20 acres into a tiny house village.
Phase 1 is the property manager can stay without rent, but will need to cover their electric and internet bill which are estimated to be about $100.00. In exchange for the free place to park and hook up the property manager will keep the yard mowed, the garden weeded, harvest fruit and nut trees, and hook themselves up to the electric and well, [possibly to the septic system or proper disposal of a composting toilet.
Phase 2 - if things are working out - We can discuss and access fixing up the old house and sharing the rent or using it for storage space for people in the community we build.
Phase 3 - create more hook up sites for tinyhomes of all types
Phase 4 - create community fire pit and other features, hopefully build at least one grass covered dwelling to look like The Shire as one of the first things people see when entering the site.
The 20 acres is surrounded by over a hundred acres of "no neighbors". All of the property allows for tiny homes as long as we figure out composting toilets or a proper septic system for each hook up site. Rainwater catching and extending the well are allowed. Fiber internet is scheduled to arrive by the end of the year, currently US Celluar works well there for internet.
Locally there is kayaking on the river, the Hope House, the Scotland Neck Bird Reserve, Albemarle Sound, Edenton, and Little Washington.
Two hours from Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. One hour to Greenville (Civilization) , and two and a half hours to Raleigh.
There are also workshop and shed buildings where a handyman could build or repair tiny homes. We could also put containers on the property and create a storage facility for Tiny Home travelers.
