We (married couple, mid 30s) live in a tiny home on land in a rural neighborhood. There are no restrictions and we are adapting the property to accommodate additional tiny homes.
Available: a limestone bluff in the Texas Hill Country for parking your tiny house or creative housing structure. Electrical and water are provided. You must have a composting toilet or holding tank for wastewater. Access is via a dirt driveway.
You have shared use of the land and can put in a private garden for your own use. Anything except food crops and Texas natives requires permission to plant. There are some fruit trees already on the property.
There is a gigantic lookout deck available for yoga and relaxing. The entire property has fantastic views.
The neighborhood backs to the Balcones Wildlife Refuge and is populated by endangered golden cheeked warblers. There is lake access nearby where you can swim, boat, or put in a kayak. There are some hiking trails in the Refuge.
The neighbors have horses, sheep, and chickens. There's a farmer's market nearby on Fridays and Sundays. It is a 40 minute drive to Austin.
About rent: $400/mo for a 6 month lease, $500 if month to month. Pets negotiable.
